Every week in 2017, you will receive a new prompt card from Effy Wild. Designed to jump start your next art journal spread, these cards are printable for your future use as well, so you can expect to collect 52 cards by the end of the year!

Each card comes with a word, definition, synonyms, art prompt, and ‘oracle prompt’. You can copy/paste this information for your own records, and use it & the card in meditation, or in written or art journaling as you see fit!

On A Personal Note:

I don’t know if it’s spring springing or what, but there’s a lot stirring in my inner landscape. My dream life is rich – full of powerful emotions, epic moments, vignettes that shake me up and wake me in the middle of the night. I feel like a bubbling cauldron in disguise – so much simmering beneath the surface.

I can be with these states without panicking *because of my journal practice*. I trust that whatever is simmering, however hot it might be, won’t scald me. I trust that it will come to a full boil, but that it will be contained in a way that I can manage.

One of the practices I use most often in times like these is Mood Journaling. It is pure magic, because it lets me make a holy mess without worrying about how a spread *looks*, a mess whose creation has allowed me to discharge high energy emotional states safely, and then with a few unifying moves, I can calm it all down and transform it into something affirming.

I did a lesson on this in BOD a few weeks ago, and when I shared the image that came out of the lesson, I got requests to release it as standalone mini-workshop!

Your wish is my commend. Click through for details!

P.S. If you subscribe to my newsletter, you get access to my VIP resources page which includes this class with a discount.

ONWARD TO WEEK #21

Feel free to save this image, and print it for your own personal use as an art journal prompt card OR as an oracle/meditation card.

In sharing your responses to these prompts on line, I ask that you use the following format:

“This week I’m working with the prompt “word” from Effy Wild’s Journal52 <linked to http://journal52.com>. You can find the prompt and art card here. <permalink to the post for that week.>.

Please don’t lift the cards or written prompts from my website to share in your own spaces. Direct folks to the original post at journal52.com so they can find it themselves.

Thank you.

Feel free to copy/paste this information for your own records:

Soar
To fly upward. To glide along at height. To rise, ascend, or aspire.

Synonyms
Fly, ascend, rise, sail, arise, glide.

Prompt
Create a spread explores what can be perceived from ‘above’ a situation. Play with bird or flight imagery in your journal.

Oracle
What can be seen from ‘on high’ about the situation you are presenting in? What do you need to rise above? What do you aspire to?

Have a Great Week!

As always, do whatever you feel inspired to do! Use what you have! Create in anyway you are inspired to create!

Before You Go

I would love it if you'd join my "Beloveds List", which is my newsletter. I use this list to invite you to monthly live gatherings on YouTube, send you coupon codes and information on classes that are opening for registration, to announce giveaways and other subscriber perks, and to provide you with access to my VIP resources page. This list is especially for my people, and you are obviously one of my people. xo

P.S. If you believe white privilege isn't a thing, that we are a post racist society, that 'the wall' is a good idea, that artists should shut up about social justice and stick with posting pretty things, or that gay people are going to hell, please don't join this list. I'm definitely *not* going to be your cup of tea. Thank you!
