This is day ten of The Artfully Wild Blogalong. You can find out more here.

On Monday, my son came over for dinner, and I made this:

This is spaghetti squash, cut in half and baked until done, scooped, and then stuffed with it’s own innards, which I stirred into a rich, hearty meat sauce. I covered it with a shredded Italian cheese blend, and put in the oven until the cheese melted.

It was easy, and delicious. There were no leftovers. :)

He was feeling pretty ganked (my word for off) due to over caffeinating + stuff at work, so we skipped the usual watching of things and listened to music instead.

We had a good visit, and I sent him home with a metric butt tonne of leftover Chinese food, because The Food Bank of Mom is a thing around here.

I love feeding and taking care of my people. I’m honestly not sure who gets more out of it, me or them.

In Other News

I’m behind on all the things because writing practice has taken over my life, but I spent yesterday getting somewhat caught up. A Year Of Rumi is filmed. I just have to do 8 hours or so of post production required to make a good lesson (photographs, screen shots, writing up the musings and the walkthrough, creating the PDF, compressing the videos so they don’t take up too much room on your hard drive, building the classroom so that everything is embedded and available for download, etc.), and that will come out in both the year long and Patreon version on Friday. I really love what I’m working on.

This is so full of little gold details, so the photograph just doesn’t do it justice. It’s lush, and those little heart shaped birdies make me ridiculously happy.

It’s a busy week for me, though, so that’s all I’ve got for now.

See you tomorrow.
